I agree with you.  If anyone has a crack at LSU it should be Bama again getting another shot.  It was a great game when they played earlier in the season and this one is set up to be a dandy of a football game.

Oregon gave LSU a little challenge in the opener, and the first half of the SEC championship was troublesome and they went on to blow Georgia out in that game.  Alabama played them better than anyone for 60minutes, not sure BAMA can pull off the win but it should be fun to watch.  LSU has won vs. a ranked team week after week after week and has blown out nearly everyone of them.  I'm a fan of both coaches,  they have great football programs, quite possibly the top 2 programs in the nation over the last few years.  Was the right call for the BCS for a change and should be on awesome finish to the season.

Whoever it was who called the LSU-Bama game earlier this season 'a good game' didn't watch the game I watched.  There was great defense but the offenses failed to execute.

I think both teams are easily the two best in the country.  I prefer a defensive struggle and I don't need to see two teams run up 100 points to make a game interesting.

LSU is better.  Les is going beat my Nick Saban and his Crimson Tide because they have better defense, offense, and special teams.  LSU is unstoppable this year.

I'm still more intrigued by the Rose Bowl.

A "good" game can go both ways I think.  We can have a 40-40 shootout or a 17-14 kind a game, which I think we will get the later of the two for a National Championship.  Lack of execution the first game at times was the result of great execution on the defensive side of the game.  A few great games shaping up though, Happy Holidays and enjoy some football.

legacyme3 : The first match-up was boring, slow-paced, and bogged down by poor offensive play.  I love defense.  It wasn't defensive so much as bad offense that made the game take forever.  It was okay but not the most captivating football.

I think the national championship will be better.

I look for a few big plays for the LSU offense during the game, I also have a feeling the special teams and the defenses both with score some points in this one. Maybe 30-40% of the points will be defense and special teams in this one.  PS Merry Christmas to everyone !!!!!!
