If I had a robot I would use it to do circuitry work. I would have a sensor that picks up certain colors and shapes or soldering and circuit wiring. Then I would have it inspect the wiring elements for errors. I would also have a rotating hand with tools on it at different angles. One tool for an example would be a electric meter which could be used to find shorts or wires that have split. Then it would have a soldering gun with a device that could change the rod it would be using to solder what it needed to. I would also have a set of precise servos and a set for the robot to move quickly. For example say it needed to turn around instead a taking a minute take about 15 seconds.

Heh Heh Heh. If I had a robot, I would never have to do homework ever again. I have seen that in a lot of TV shows, kids thinking a robot would do all their homework. But, like Eidetic, it might also help with cleaning, or turn against me, whichever it's programmed to do.

If I had a robot, I probably would treat it as both a servant and a friend... I would have it clean for me and vacuum when I do not feel like it. I would also have it do my laundry and cook for me. At the same time, I would also like it to cheer me up when I am down and keep me entertained when I feel lonely or just bored.
