I'm bi, gay whatever the hell you wanna call it.
Ben, don't tell your parents, they will kill me, and hate me forever...

Anyway, what's your stance on homophobia/homosexuality? I am sooooo going to get in trouble for this thread

My opinions are that if it's out of my face it's fine, I have friends who are homo and they just know to not come on to me. By the way are you bi or homo? Because there is a big difference. (I'm tipping on it just being a phase though)

Edit: I'll attempt to keep an extra eye on this thread so I want everyone to act mature and responsible, in other words: Feel free to express your opinion but please do it only if you want to add to the discussion and not to stir up drama.

Aye, if you think your supposed to feel bad or supposed to hide it... your wrong. Be proud of who you are, but like DM said about his friends. Respect that alot of people wont share your beliefs... so dont... you know... ask them... unless you know they are going for it... I had two homosexual friends and both knew i didnt swing that way, so thus, they didnt... swing in my direction... wow.. i tried to be as PC as possible... Anyway, do your parents know?

I don't know, the way I look at it is like my friends who are alcoholic, do drugs or smoke... or even who lie a lot. Its not the best thing but it doesn't make or break who you are.

Anyways your sexual orientation is between you and whoever your sexually involved with, not the board. If you want an opinion if its cool to swing that way I'd say probably not. Not because your defying societal norms (its cool now days anyway) but because if you get married to another guy you won't be able to experience one of the great joys in life. (kids) Not too mention the typical associated lifestyle that leads to an insanely high percentage of gay men with hiv being a large tax burden.

That is my stance. The more prevalent question is it hereditary/genetic? It definitely hasn't been proven and I think its your personal choices and environmental conditioning, yet its a commonly held belief/perception.

It's got a lot to do with childhood. I know this thread isn't about my life, but my father was always out partying when I was born, he was always away and right when my dad started staying home, my mom got wicked sick (when I was 12) and I've had to take care of them since.
This means that your later life is greatly changed by your childhood environment.

My view on it is it's not the gender of a person you like (DM, no jokes here) it's the person you like. So, that's my stance on ie.

I've only one thing to say on this matter:
Whatever floats your boat, man.

On another note: You may very well change. Usually teens like us, and I'm sure you've noticed, have a lot of confusion during these years. Thus, radical changes can happen when one single thing clicks or doesn't.
Just go with it for now.
See what happens later.

Also, Zylo, you still can experience kids: Adoption.

I will 99% likely change, yes, and so will most of the teenagers I know. The whole emotional confusion does scramble things up a lot, so I'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks Bob that makes me happy. I did tell my parents. First, I told my mother, she took it great. She just wants me to still adopt when I'm older which I will. Then, I told my dad, and he said it didn't change his opinion of me, that I'm his son and nothing will make him think less of me. So yeah, I got great support.

I'm very saddened that the prejudice here is very bad, so that's why I was extremely nervous; My friend Armando told his father, and his dad said he was dead to him. Armando left my school and moved to Virginia yesterday because he could not live with his father.

My friend Julianna's mother was furious when she figured out she, you know. At first, when I started hanging out with Julianna, her mother thought I was her boyfriend; And when her mother looked at my hair, she said, "You picked a WAISTOID?! You could've done much better, Julie!" I'm an honor student 99% of the time. She was relieved though, because she thought Julie finally changed her thinking.

My view is like Neyro's, you like a person or you don't, it's not a bad thing, unless the person is a bad influence.

These days, it's far from impossible for a gay couple to have their own biological children.

Having to care for others in your childhood doesn't make you gay. It just makes you a caring person.

The actual reasons for homosexuality are still heavily debated, but I think the fact that children who turn out to be gay come from all kinds of different home environments and parents proves that it has little to do with upbringing. It is definitely not a choice. The way it works is that, for example, a gay man is attracted to the same pheromones as a straight woman would be. That has very little to do with choices and childhood.

Also, sorry to hear that about your friend. It's such a shame that some people are capable of abandoning their children over something like that.

Funny thing is, theres been studies that said (Supposedly) that homosexuality is a thing in the brain, where if it changes, you're homo, and if it doesn't, you're not. Something like that.

Another funny/absurd thing: The World Health Organization (Or something close to that) labels homosexuality as a disease and has a "# Of People Affected". But they don't label bisexuality as a disease. Weird

Also, I found something... interesting, on Wikipedia:
Gay men have, on an average, slightly longer and thicker penises than non-gay men.
and....
Gay men and lesbians are significantly more likely to be left-handed or ambidextrous than are non-gay men and women.

It's ok with me. I just don't want to be run up on by a man.

My dad probably would consider me dead too if I were gay. I guess that makes it easy for me because i'm not.

If my kid were gay, it would make me sad because, you know. I was grand kids of my own blood line. Not some other peoples kids. It would probably be the same if my kid were not fertile but I'd still love them, because you know, that would be my kid, I made that kid with my wife and all. So it means a lot more that way.

Plus, it is true, these Teen years are confusing ones, think of it. You're not a Kid, and you're not an adult. Teens are kind of excluded in society. Because you can't really judge each teen by their age, some Teens are really mature and smart and some are not. It kinda messes with a Teen. There is a lot of soul searching to do.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
