I was a big fan of Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies when it came out for the Nintendo DS. I heard the tenth game is to come out sometime next year for the Wii and hopefully the Wii U. The game takes place in a world called Astoltia and you can select from six playable races which are: Human, Ogre, Elf, Dwarf, Puklipo, and Weddie. You apparently start out as a human, but when something happens you will be able to select from the five other races.

Some of the characters in Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies had DBZ hair styles though lol. Each of the characters have a class like Warrior, Priest, Mage, Warlock, Spellcaster. It's an RPG. You can make equipment and weapons by alchemy from materials and other items you find. You should try out Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies if you have a DS.  On PS2....and I must say it was a unique gaming experience in its own genre, Well that's great news that the tenth edition is coming out...
