I understand that raising a Pokemon as a breeder is cool and all, they just aren't likely to ever be as strong as a Pokemon that battles a lot.

That being said, I personally enjoy battling in all the games I play. I may breed a bit to get a good nature or egg move but my main goal is always battling and becoming a better battler.

Besides, I am one who enjoys recognition. As far as I'm aware, in the Pokemon universe there are far more awards and trophies to be won in being a Trainer than a breeder. Anything from the badges to the trophies I would want

Unfortunitly  I would get bored as a breeder so I'd have to say a Trainer I'd much prefer to travel around the world than be stuck in the same place my entire life!
