From where did you got the idea of making the Vizzed's camp?

I actually came up with the idea sometime a year ago during my first summer on Vizzed.

However, I was in the middle of being removed from the center stage, and defecting to another forum, so I didn't put it into place. I also didn't have the ability to make it successful like I can now.

I got the idea ORIGINALLY however, from a life experience. See, I know what it's like to not be able to go to a summer camp for various reasons. I always wanted to go to one. Now this isn't a replacement for one of course, but it'll at least give people something to do, whether or not they can go to a camp.

I do have a dog, sort of.

1. Not this active. I expected mild activity at best... I'm curious how active it'll be when we get to real competitions (not team names and flags )

2. Not really. The spam machines come out in full force, and I've got a ton of camp posts today. I'm just that busy.

3. I can't taste anything right now except the bitter after taste of last night's beer.

I'll start with the National League. I have very few complaints with the roster... although, I will say a few things boggled me on their end

1. Pablo Sandoval starting over David Wright. I shouldn't even have to explain what's wrong with that. Sandoval doesn't even deserve to play. He deserves a spot on the team, but as a bench player who is honored to be on the team.

2. Melky Cabrera over Ryan Braun. Seriously. What the hell? Ryan Braun is having an MVP calliber season. Melky Cabrera is just a good player.

3. Lance Lynn making the team. Last I checked, there was a player called Zack Grienke. Where's he?

As for the American League, I am f***ing pissed off. Where do I begin...

1. Too many f***ing Rangers. I don't mind the Rangers, but 7 players are already on the team (and Yu Darvish could be an 8th if he wins the 34th man voting.) That's around 1/4 of the team. That's f***ing stupid. I tune in to watch the best players in baseball. I can watch the Texas Rangers anytime they are on National TV.

2. I know I said too many Rangers, but why is Matt Harrison on the team? Seriously, Jake Peavy is a better pitcher. So is Felix Doubront. Hell, there are probably 7 or 8 guys who were more deserving of an all star nod.

3. No Red Sox players (except Papi). I am a Red Sox fan. I want to watch Red Sox players. Jarrod Saltalamacchia is very deserving of a spot on the roster. So was Cody Ross. SCOTT ATCHISON? The fact only David Ortiz made it is insulting. He will only get to play 3 innings anyway.

4. Snubs galore. Too many snubs to list. Mostly so more Texas Rangers could get on the team.

5. Ron Washington is a terrible terrible person.

6. This is one most people will not agree with. Mike Trout should not be an all star. He can be the 34th man on the ballot, but he is NOT deserving of an all star bid in this season. Especially when players like Jake Peavy, Yu Darvish, Jarrod Saltamacchia, and several other afforementioned snubs were kept off the team in favor of a 20 year old who has all of 250 at bats of major league experience.

Needless to say, I am NOT watching this year's all star game. They need to seriously change who gets to vote in players.

7 Rangers. 4 Cardinals. 4 Giants. There are a total of 66 players on both rosters (not counting the 34th man who has yet to be decided) 7+4+4 = 15. 15/66 = 23% of ALL ALL STAR PLAYERS.

23% OF ALL ALL STAR PLAYERS ARE ON ONE OF THREE TEAMS. THE RANGERS. THE CARDINALS. THE GIANTS.

I don't even like those teams. Why the hell would I watch players I don't like?

Really need to de-emphasize fan voting. Let us vote for bench players, not the f***ing starters. Leave that to the players, the managers as a whole, the general managers, and hell, the commissioner of baseball.

Leave it out of the hands of people who clearly don't understand that you can vote for players who aren't on your team.

Well, since he isn't that active that much, you might be able to pass him and reach 20,000 posts before him. What's the next milestone after you hit it? Pass David and hit 25,000 posts?

Global Moderators are basically moderators who moderate the ENTIRE site.
