At this point, the VCS is mine to lose. As long as I post a somewhat reasonable amount for the rest of the month, it is impossible to beat me without a lot of help from other members. And even then, you have to outpost them.

Been reading the poss made in this thread and I got a question to tell. Why do the posts get weirder every time (Poo for example) and doesn't some questions bother you (not literally but I think you know what I mean).

Questions get weirder because people want to ask those types of questions. Some people are just trolls, and want to be an ass, and others are actually interested in knowing weird things.

Things don't bother me because I've seen just about everything. Not much can really surprise me in the form of a question. Not to say I can't be surprised ever... but questions are rarely all that surprising.

How do think the Elder Scrolls: Online will do?

Will you buy it?

Do you like sonic? If so, what sonic games do you like? Are you going to like "Sonic 4: Episode II"? (It recently came out, not on wii or wiiware this time. )

No. I'm really not interested for several reasons.

1. It's an MMO. I do not like MMOs for various reasons.
2. It's an online game. I don't like playing online when I don't have to.
3. It opens the door to griefing of sorts. All it takes is one or two a**h***s to completely ruin everyone's fun time. An Elder Scrolls game is the rule, not the exception.

Think of it like this. What is the point of the Elder Scrolls series? To put you in an immersive world where you can do literally everything and anything. Steal from people. Kill them. Finish Quests. All of that sounds great doesn't it?

How are you going to implement it online?

Stealing from other players? That's just dicky.
Killing them? That's being an ass... especially if you are overpowered. If the enemy ATTACKING YOU FOR NO REASON is level 50, and you are just starting to play, you will be destroyed. PK ahoy! The beauty is, being an Elder Scrolls game, there would be no punishment, it's exactly what the game allows you to do! At that level, they can just kill the guards that try to arrest them.

I like Sonic, mostly the classic games. My favorites are Sonics 1-3 and Generations.

I doubt I'll get Sonic 4.2

I didn't like Sonic 4.1 so if I do get it it will be a long time in the future when it's basically cheaper than dirt.

I see, I'm really quite curious to see how they will go about with it. It being online would take away a lot of the things that kind of makes Elder Scrolls, Elder Scrolls. I read the article in GameInformer, and it looks pretty fun, but it wont really be an Elder Scrolls game; just a MMO with the Elder Scrolls name and a few of its qualities built into it, like the setting and stuff.

The only thing I'm really, really looking forward to in this game would be that it will include most of Tamriel as free roam territory. I believe it to include Cyrodiil, Elsweyr, Morrowind, and most of Skyrim at launch. Other places will be included as DLC later on. I really want to see an HD version of Morrowind, that would be quite amazing.

Either way, I personally will buy it just to see what they do with it. I'm not really a big MMO fan either, rather I'm just curious.

Now I want it even less. The only thing about it that was at all endearing was the Elder Scrolls feel. If it's just an MMO with Elder Scrolls attached by name only, then what is the point of even playing it? It sounds worse and worse all the time.

The only thing so far that does sound interesting is the free roaming bit. But with all the griefers in games, I highly doubt it'll be like that. It'll be "take 3 steps. Die. Wait a minute. Take 3 more steps. Die. Repeat."

The article said that they are trying to give it as much of an Elder Scrolls game feel as they can. I don't really know for sure if the game will have more of an Elder Scrolls feel or MMO feel to it; I'm hoping for it to have that Elder Scrolls feel, though.

Either way, it still wont be the same as a true Elder Scrolls game is what I originally meant, because it will have MMO elements in it.

Nope. I've decided going to college would be counter productive to my goals.

I want to be with my girlfriend as soon as possible. The only way I could be with her AND go to college is if she moved here (not happening) or I got into a college over there (also not happening)
