I guess I missed the summon here saying I got tRIUNE's correct. Okay, here is my next one.

Two teenage boys decided to make a bet. One of the boys bet the other $50 that he could eat 24 scrambled eggs in less than 30 minutes on an empty stomach. They shook hands and the bet was set. The boy did not eat or drink anything for 2 days to ensure that there was absolutely no food in his system. The next morning, the other provided him with 24 eggs, which he scrambled to ensure that there all 24 eggs were cooked and put on the plate. The boy managed to eat all of the eggs on the plate in 28 minutes, but he still lost the bet. Why?

I didn't want to double post, but nobody seems to have any clue on this riddle, so I'll give a little hint to keep the thread alive.

There is one detail about the bet that makes the task impossible for the boy eating the eggs. Let's see if that helps. I'll put another hint if I get a few guesses that are incorrect.
