Yeah but using "haxxing" software or game shark or action replay might make her playable but it doesn't actually ressurrect her and make her part of the storline.

Not sure how old this thread is...but anyway...
When I first played FF7 I knew she died...I just didn't know she died that early in the game...and I laughed when she got killed cause I never used her and I could picture Cloud saying:NO!Don't die pink dressed lady!...I mean Aeris!
and as for a way to resurrect her...Phoenix Downs...simple right...if you got blown to pieces by sephiroth's "meteor" summon...shouldn't a phoenix down work on a measly stab wound?

I was just thinking about this the other day, when I was playing FFIV (DS), the princess died.. im like.. I got 2 pheonix downs.. why cant I give her one..

Yes, I know apparently Phoenix Downs don't do their job... stupid slacker potions. But then again, not hearing Aeris constantly babble at me is always nice.

It would be nice if you could because to me she jsut a useless character. You can level her to level 99 get all the stuff for her only to find out she dies half way through the game.

It makes even using here kinda pointless to me.





Slap her she will awaken form her slumber.

Blah D: I still get mad when the game's own concept doesn't work (Phoenix down!) and by the way, FF7 fits like, 85 of the 100+ cliches in the "Grand List"

After reading iBrocks post I say go to her body and force a phoenix down her throat she will awaken then choke to death. . . .

Wow XD I wonder how many people wanted to revive her for the sake of having her in the story again? I just wanted my strong materia back.

I somehow stumbled upon a random video which showed Aeris/Aerith in a specific scene (An avalanche or something? I haven't played the game.) which occured AFTER she died.
The person wasn't using codes or anything of the sort, so there's some trick to keeping her in yer party after she dies. (I'll try to find it again.)

Scrolling through the comments, someone posted that Square was originally going to make her able to be revived, but due to release dates, they didn't.
(She was supposed to be revived around the 3rd disk)

Sucks, eh?

Apparently if you do this trick, she won't always appear, but she'll be in the cutscenes that she would've been in if Square had made her able to be revived.

Now... I don't get it. Square had already added most of the scenes and stuff in for her resurrection/revival (Whatever you'd call it.) and they didn't add in the revival.

Does anyone else think they should've pushed back the release date? o.o

Is that all a big joke Benny or are you serious? The vid you might've seen was probably someone using gameshark to have her join their party, I've done that before to and have even had Young Cloud and Sephiroth join my part, but it doesn't follow the story line at all

Well if they ever release a remake that they've been teasing us about for years now, I'm willing to bet that they might include a way to ressurrect her in there...than again, it wouldn't follow the story though since 'Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children' is the sequel to the game and highlight for spoiler she's dead in there too
