To my right is books.  Lots and lots of books.
But then I spend about seventy percent of my days at Books-A-Million
If I cannot have my seat by the window next to the cookie café, my next choice of placement is a chair that I set up in the bargain aisle.  So I sit in front of O'Reilly, some war history, a few biographies, and conservative-friendly writings.  Behind me to my right are some music CD's (Aretha, Tina Turner, Elvis, Ray Charles, etc.) and a wall with portraits of (shocker here!) people reading.
I like my spots because they are relatively private.
