This is really difficult
I'll give it a try:

1. Breaking Benjamin / Rammstein (Both sharing 1st.)
2. Billy Talent
3. Ice Cube
4. Avenged Sevenfold
5. Nickelback (?) (Haven't listened to all of their songs yet.)
6. Green Day (?) (Haven't listened to all of their songs yet.)
7. Feeder
8. Social Distortion

I only heard one song from 7 and 8,so I wouldn't really count them as a 'favourite',but oh well...

10 favorite artists I'll give it a crack but can't guarantee that all 10 will be fitted so I'm going to add my favorite song from each band next to it so if you haven't heard of them you have a song reference to check them out by. Hope that is ok

In no particular order just how they come to my head:

1) Hollywood Undead - City
2) Linkin Park - In The End
3) I.C.P. (Insane Clown Posse) - Juggalo Homies
4) Twiztid - We Don't Die
5) Disturbed - Stricken
6) Nirvana - Come As You Are
7) Deuce - Story Of A Snitch
8) Weird Al Yankovic - Smells Like Nirvana
9) Eminem - The Way I Am
10) John Cena - Right Now

There is my list
Hope you enjoy the music if you haven't heard of the artist before check them out you might find something new you like

Tough, tough, tough decisions.

10. The Arrogant Worms
These guys are both the second funniest band I've ever encountered, but they reek so strongly of Canadian pride that it's to the point of parody at this point.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_RPp4dbam8

9. Turisas
I love these guys. They're not quite viking metal, they're not quite folk metal, but by god do they make amazing music. Some of the catchiest stuff I've ever heard.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLo02AquUCs

8. Darren Korb
I don't care if this doesn't technically count as a band. By god, this man makes amazing music. That he makes it for video games is even better.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrndRM9thzg

7. Christopher Tin
I love me some choir music. This guy can take a group of people and have them produce absolute magic. Most people know about his song Baba Yetu, but Mado Kara Mieru is amazing as well.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJiHDmyhE1A

6. Judas Priest
These guys are classics in every sense of the word. Helping to kick off heavy metal when it began, riding the wave of its popularity all through the years to remain amongst the top of the game the entire time.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM__lPTWThU&ob=av3e

5. GWAR
These guys were my rebellious youth band. I first heard them in high school, and I immediately adored them. Rude and crude, filthy and nasty, but excellent musicians. Their live show antics are an entire category all to themselves, for how much production they put into them.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBTVmfwt4Yc (this is probably their one clean song)

4. Sabaton
Historical power metal. Their sound is amazing, but then they're singing about battles that happened all throughout history, mostly World War II and World War I, but they run the gamut all around history.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LeqzHJRxC0

3. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Oh man, these guys.... The very definition of classy. You feel like a puttin' on a zoot suit and hop skip and jump'n jive with the best of'em, takin' your gal and swingin' with her all night long. Bouncy upbeat music of the highest caliber. I've yet to find someone who wasn't immediately cheered up immensely by this music.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBxfAs_skMA

2. Stratovarius
For the longest time, these guys were my favourite. Back when I was still 'discovering' music when I was young, some bands stood out to me... But few truly enraptured me. Dream Theater was kinda my gateway band, opening me up to all sorts of thoughts, but nothing truly.... Solidified with me, at least, until I discovered these guys. THEN my boundaries opened up, I gobbled everything of theirs I could find, and for years I had my greatest musical love.
Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-4Gm6VG4O0

1. Van Canto
At least, until I found these guys.
The part of music and bands in general that I've always enjoyed the most were the vocals. (in retrospect, I really shoulda put Queen on this list somewhere... Well, they deserve much more than a simple plug from a silly Canadian) That's one of the main things that I liked about Stratovarius: They have a very capable and excellent singer at the forefront.
But then I found Van Canto suddenly; and noticed that they were almost ENTIRELY composed of vocalists. All they have is four vocalists and a drummer. Somehow, though, they create the music I've loved and wanted for so long. A Capella is one of my adorations, but not many things I've found have managed to really nail the possibilities of it. Van Canto came along and completely changed that for me, and they have my everlasting love for it.
