I would actually prefer to have Arcanine as a bodyguard. Arcanine is sleek, looks awesome and mighty, and I doubt anyone would want to mess around if they saw me with a giant canine friend. Plus I like Arcanine, he's fun and friendly too!

If I had to take a second choice, it would probably be Venasaur. I still remember back in the day I played Pokemon Red, I'd have this level 99 Venasaur with me at all times in case I got into trouble. I liked the Venasaur that much, that I took time to train it all the way to level 99. I probably should have leveled up my other Pokemon along the way though, a good team is a well balanced team!
