I actually just played through FF3 (US reckoning) a couple of weeks ago for like the fourth time.  I played all the newer ones (except the online), but never wanted to replay one.  I never tried pokemon, it looks kinda silly to me, but maybe I was just too old to get hooked when it came around.

I am a massive Final Fantasy fan, I've been playing those games since I was little, starting with FF VII it's still my all time favourite FF and in my opinion probably one of the greatest made games of all time! I have pretty much played all of the series a few times through except for FF I, which I will play after finishing VI again and XIII-2 which I haven't bought for the PS3 yet, although I have heard from a friend it has elements of Pokémon in it which sounds a little dubious to me.

So yeah basically I'm a bit of a FF nut! Which, may I ask, is your favourite of the series?

I'd have to say one of my favorite Final Fantasy's would be 10 and 12. 10 due to the fact that blitzball was an amazing idea (don't get me wrong the gameplay is also amazing for 10). 12 was just so different it had me excited through-out the whole game being able to free style roam even during battle unlike the others.

Is there no love for Final Fantasy Tactics? I thought it was a great departure from the regular thing they did and I hope they come back around to make a proper sequel to it. And 6 and 7 are definitely my favorites. The more recent entries in the series are a bit of a downgrade from the luster they used to have in my opinion.

BluemageKyle : You replied to an post I made like 200 posts ago ? lol  It's true that you can just mash the X button in the game but there are missions in the game after you beat it that actually have you making up strategies to defeat hard bosses. It was pretty challenging but you wouldn't know  since all you noticed about the game was the mashing.
