I can't actually think of any idiotic rules that my schools had, but there was one teacher who had some weird rules for class. Mrs. Tobobski, she must have been 80, would get furious if your nails were dirty. She would pull out a bowl, fill it water and make you scrub them in front of the class. You also couldn't talk in her class unless you were spoken to, or else you'd get a ruler across your hands.
Thankfully neither happened to me, but it must have humiliating for those who did experience it.

Surprised Llama :  Wow, that is stupid.  Most of the students at my school would not pass the drug test cause I know that some of them do drugs just by looking at them and the way they sound.

My school has something like that Academic Support, except it's called Study Strong. Homework could be assigned as a Study Strong Assignment, and if it wasn't turned in on time, you get a lunch detention. Skip it, and you get after school detention. I heard that, because so many kids just skipped the lunch detention, they were just going to set it straight to after school. Fortunately, we don't have any as weird as most of these I'm reading.

Surprised Lama : Wow, even if its prescribed? I would sooo fail the drug test every single time, I'm on a literal cocktail of meds to try and keep my migraines under control. I'd need practically a booklet of my prescriptions on hand.


As for my stupid school rule, No flip-flops/open toed shoes, period. I mean why on earth would that be such a problem? You can't wear moccasins ether apparently, that really ticked my friend off.
