I've been listening to the 5 hour long Defqon 1 Legends set, currently I'm around the second hour. The set celebrates 25 years of hardstyle and was the last one played at this year's edition of the festival to close off celebraions. They divided the set into five chapters, each comprising five years from 2000 all the way to 2025.

It shows both the evolution of this awesome music as well as paying tribute to the many legends that have made it possible. It features both an incredible team of performers as well as cameos by many of our beloved DJs and producers taking to the stage and playing their most memorable anthems.

I'm loving every single second, and with every year the organisation behind Defqon 1 manages to surpass itself. I sincerely envy those lucky enough to go, I'm quite some distance away and the dates are troublesome due to work, but luckily they upload several of the sets played over the four days across the several stages it has so I can't complain all that much because we get a decent amount of treats.

There's these random videos that pop into my feed in which a contestant in some Asian talent show starts playing an instrument and they just suddenly become the single best player of that instrument in the world. They have to.

This guy made his own song on his guitar called 'Crow', and I never even knew a guitar could be played like that. As someone who has played an instrument before (and would like to in the future!) I have a lot of respect for the creativity people can find through instrumental music.

I'm currently listening to my Crush 40 playlist on Spotify I'm determined to have Crush 40 be my number 1 on Spotify Wrapped this year I keep having it miss the top spot by 1 or 2 spots and I'm sitting here like come on it's my favorite band I don't even really use Spotify anymore but every once in a while I will turn it on just to listen to this playlist, currently Knight of the Wind is playing I always have my playlists on shuffle cause I love the surprise element of it.

You know how Youtube sometimes auto generates some playlist for you? It showed me one that had like a bunch of songs or anime OST I used to listen to maybe 10 years ago. Some I have had to skip, I don't really enjoy those songs as much as I used to, but I've run into a few that had completely slipped my mind over the years.
