I am not scared of death. It is going to happen anyway and I lf you spend too much time worrying about death you won't enjoy the time you are living.

When my hour has come I will not be afraid, for in that hour I can look and say, hey I could have been created as a bacteria on mars, and hey, if some bacteria have to live thousands of years doing nothing, I feel like dying is a way to even out the scale of us fortunate enough to be ourselves against those that would wish to be us if they could think, and that is your insight into the mind of Ender44 for today, I don't like to get that mushy when I talk but hey, I had to say it

To be honest, this is quite a redundant question for me. There is no reason to be afraid of death, as in everybody is going to die sometime. I would understand if someone would be afraid to die young, but not to just die altogether! But still, everybody thinks differently, so I am not pointing anybody out.

With this being said, of course I am not afraid of death. I've never really been scared to die really. I've seen and had people die countless times including family and in person, me seeing the death. It looks horrible and I am grateful to still be alive and kicking, but I am not afraid of death.

Yep. Big time. Because the fact that right now you exist and then one minute you could be non existent..where do you go? What happens do you just..stop existing..like..what is it..what does it feel like? It's a very scary thought.

As someone who has some life goals to accomplish in mind, I certainly wouldn't want to die before feeling like I did my accomplishments.

That being said, I probably wouldn't care as much if I lacked those life goals.

I personally am not that afraid of death, As a matter of fact ever since I almost Crushed my skull last thanksgiving while riding my bike I've been a little curious as too what happens when I die. I understand that as long as I keep a clam head and use all of my sense's as well as I can I have a much better shot at surviving, Don't get me wrong the fear will over whelm me at sometimes, But I manage to keep control despite that fear, I mean like when I had my bike accident I would've crushed my skull if I didn't flip onto my hip (most likely (I did break my hip..)) But here's one more example, First off I live in a ghetto like area, a bunch of gangs and that kind off thing, but I'm lucky enough that one of my friends dad is a master of MMA and taught me enough to defend myself pretty easily now let me get to the point, So I was walking a few days after I pissed off a gang member, Hey was absolutely livid, Having probably killed before he tried to jump me with a knife (Thank god it wasn't a gun) and tried to at me, Right there most people I know would froze in fear, I even did for a minute, but I managed to pivot and break his arm. I've given these stories so no one will be like "try having a gun point to your head" or "have you ever had a near death experience?" because I have. I am not afraid of death due to the fact that when I was fourteen I was scuba diving and I drowned. I was dead for 23 minutes until I was brought back to life by some doctors at the hospital. I have come to understand life's meaning because God all put us on Earth to do a job once our job is completed we shall fade away. I guess that as of that day my job was yet incomplete so I had a second chance. There is a life cycle so one day we will all fade away into time.

I AM because your dead, you can't do anything, nothing, that would suck, so I am super scared of death!

I'm really wondering how I haven't posted in this thread at all yet. Not even a small and simple explanation, even.

In the end, for me, it really only depends on the situation.

If I die suddenly, in an event in which I won't be able to give my final farewells, then I would at least want those who I had cared for to at least know I wouldn't want them to grieve over my death. If their lives are interrupted or absolutely ruined over my death, then I'll feel as if my death were a waste. In fact, ruining somebody else's life to the point of making them be unable to live their everyday lives BECAUSE of my death IS worse than dying itself.

That alone is one of the two fears I have over dying, Nya~.

Now, to skip the other fear fr the moment, which I will go back to, I'd like to explain that I am NOT afraid of dying at all. It's pointless to fear something that naturally happens in life. If I die, that's it. I don't expect some type of heaven or underworld, nor would I ever want there to be one. I wouldn't want to be reincarnated either. Despite the times in which I feel as if I am suffering in this life, I also see my life as if, for example, it were a good video game/anime/book. I don't want to have my life to continue after it ends. It ruins the overall value of it, wouldn't you think?

The other fear sort of ties in with the first, and that's the fact of my friends dying before I do. I have a small amount of people I know outside of the internet that I can call friends, most of which even are considered best friends, so, to lose one of them would be devastating for me, which is kinda hypocritical considering what I said on my earlier fear, when I really think about it, Nya~.

Anyways, overall, I'm not afraid of death whatsoever, but there are conditions in which would make it quite horrible, as listed above, Nya~.

I'm not afraid. I'm confident in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I can rest in the fact that, when I die, I'll go to the best place imaginable, multiplied! Heaven is better than anything we can imagine, and I'm ready to enjoy it myself. I'll go when God calls me, and not a second sooner. Noone can be "good enough" to go to heaven, we've all sinned. Sin can be defined as: The willful betrayal of the Perfect and Holy God. You can't be "good enough", or wipe out the bad you've done. All you can do is trust Christ. He died on a cross to save us. Think about it, He was hung by nails in His hands and feet, high off the ground. He was then let hang there until He died. Most people who were crucified took a day, or several days, to die. He didn't, He died before the day was up. That would be SO painful! Yet, He did. For you! For me! For all who recieve Him! He was spit on, insulted, beaten, and then crucified, for us! That is so incredible! How could I be afraid of meeting someone who loves me so much? Who loves us so much? He's the kinda guy I'd die for, many times over! I can't wait to meet Him!

That's the part that scares me. 

I have faced death before; I was robbed at gunpoint by a person high on drugs. I could have been shot, and there was a chance I could have died. It's funny but I thought about it far more after the fact than during the robbery-death really wasn't what I was focused on at that point. After the fact I got kind of morbidly obsessed about it for awhile. I got over it, mostly, but yeah.

The kind of death worries me too. Like many, I'd prefer to go fast and hard; I don't want to suffer. I've watched too many people die lingering, painful, embarrassing deaths-cancer, brain tumor, slow congestive heart failure. I am currently watching my 90 year old grandfather slowly fall apart just from the pressure of his years...and that is what I want to avoid the most. I have decided that there is a point in my life where death, no matter how much I fear it, will be preferable to what I might have to face.

If I manage to live that long, I will choose the time of my death and I will die alone, with dignity and composure, and my last thought will be a full of hope. 

No Iam not afraid of death because my age there's not as much danger to me compared to a adult here are some examples 1.death of old age 2.death of high sodium 3.murder

I'm not afraid of death, but I'm a little scared of the process of dying. I'm afraid of being bedridden for months before I actually die.

It depends, really. If my purpose is fulfilled and I live to an appropriate time, I'll accept it. I'm just afraid of it coming too early, that's all. Or if it happens to someone that I am to fulfill my purpose with. Then my purpose would be meaningless.

no i am not afraid of death. i have faced death a couple times (once by gunpoint, once by a deadly infection, and once by a wrecked car i was a passenger in)... in all those cases i did not want to die and my yearn for life helped me gt through it. But we are just lying to ourselves if we think we are going to get out of this life alive...

We all die someday, so why be afraid of it if it happens to everyone?
