Pitfall II is something very different that I have never played before.  It is very fun for an Atari game.  The game plays like an adventure that can take a while to beat.

Graphics - 9

The graphics are very good.  It has very good levels in the game.

Sound - 8

The sound is good too.  The sound that interests me in the game the most was if you get hit and start back at a check point or whatever the game calls it.

Addictiveness - 8

I would play this lots of times.  It is just so much fun to play. I would play it every other week if I have nothing else to do.

Story - 7

The story is okay.  It is just a person trying to search diamonds and his niece.

Depth - 7

The game does not have a lot of features.  All you can do is jump, like Mario and dodge the enemies and make it to your destination.

Difficulty - 5

The game is not that hard.  It is easy when you get used to it.  The only hard thing in the game is if you have a hard time jumping over the enemies.

Wrap Things Up...

Pitfall games are not that boring.  I highly recommend trying this game out if you are good at Mario games and love playing adventure games.  The best part about this is that it keeps a high score.

Haha I loved playing either this or the first one, " a game within a game" In the PS2/next gen. consoles Marvel Ultimate Alliance there was an arcade machine in one level where u play as ur Marvel character in the Game of Pitfall. lol I died so many times cause I couldn't make it. Nice review; well thought out.
