How is this game rated so low... this was one of the very first games with an Easter Egg. I would give it a 9 just for that... of course that is spoiled in the description of the game... but oh well.



The beauty of this game was the number of different kinds of scenarios you could run into... For example, there were on several occasions times that the castle key or bridge, or something of critical importance just could not be reached... it was an impossible game... you had to reset not only that game, but everything else.  What this did for me, and for many, is expand the creativity of people to try all kinds of different things to get the right equipment needed to win.  And then once you find the solution... the bat messes it up  lol...




This of course leads to the Easter Egg where you cross the barrier to the far right in the main road to see the programmer's credits... I mean... who thought of that?  It's probably an old trick that programmers used back then, it was the first time that there was a game within a game to show how intelligent the whole program was for such small memory.




It's awesome in a of itself... a pioneer.
