I'm a 76ers fan but I haven't always been.  With the NBA I like teams more for the players they have as opposed to just liking a team for life (unlike in the NFL where I'm a Seahawk fan for life no matter what).  I was a Sixers fan back when they had Allen Iverson and other players I liked, then for some years I was a Miami Heat fan when they had Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway and others that I liked.  When they all retired or left (and especially when Lebron James went to Miami), I was forced to hate that team, but in the past few years I've begun to watch Philadelphia again and I like every single player on the team and love the style they play with alot of defense, fast breaks, and three point shooters.  So once again I'm a Philly fan.  With the roster sizes of NBA teams I've never been able to just stick with a team faithfully forever.  It just never made sense to me to have a favorite team if they have 15 players I don't even like.    Luckily for me, the Sixers have been pretty cool the last few years so I watch every single one of their games and at this point they are definitely my favorite team.

Heat all the way! It has to be  I mean they got 3 of my 5 favourite NBA players on the team! Lebron, Dwade and.... Norris Cole! The guy is insane. Also two other favourites are Steve Nash ( Gotta rep the fellow Canadian) and Jeremy Lin, the guy has been tearing it up.

I can't wait for the playoffs to start. I'm a little worried that D. Rose won't be fully healthy when they start, but by all accounts he's recovering well from the groin issue.

The Bulls have played well with him out, but let's be real here, they have no chance of making the NBA finals without their best player.

My favorite NBA team would most definitely be the Oklahoma City Thunder. Back when I started watching basketball in '08 when I seen Kevin Durant for the first time on the Super Sonics I knew they would be my favorite team. I got to see them go from a 28 win team to a 50 win team in a matter of 2 seasons due to the additions of Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka.

I would have to go with the lakers. I would've preferred the heat, but they seemed to have fallen off lately so I'm going to stick with the Lakers. They seem to be a much more solid team. I also enjoy the Thunder as well.

My favorite team is the Cleveland Cavaliers, yes even without LeBron I am a fan.  I have been to a Pacers, Pistons and Cavs game and thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Cavs game the most.  The atmosphere was awesome and when I go to a game I look for an atmosphere too.  If your team is still losing and you still have fans chanting, that is when you know you have true fans and not just bandwagon people.  The Pacers are my closest team, still 90 minutes away, the Cavs is 5 hours, I live in Northern Kentucky.  

Go Cavs and there is always next year.

I do not pay much attention to basketball. I tend to play as the Lakers on the games though, because they always have a really good rating. Or i just make a team of the two best overall players for each position and call them the Lakers, so yeah, I guess it would the Lakers.
