 It is pretty aggravating. Especially considering that she is a little kid herself. But like stated earlier, we can't apply our years to the world of TV or video games. It hasn't really been that many years for Ash like it has been for us. So he is, but it is still pretty annoying.

I find it really annoying because Iris calls Ash a kid for every little thing, I know it may look like he's doing something stupid but he knows what he's doing most of the time. One thing that really annoyed me in the second episode of black and white was when Iris called Ash a kid for not knowing what a Patrat was, IT'S HIS FIRST TIME IN THE FLIPPING REGION! Of course he wouldn't know what a Patrat is! Not to mention it was only the second time he saw one!
