The game I've been putting off to review for a while now,Super Castlevania IV....Why you ask? 1st I Had to actually play the game ALL THE WAY THROUGH 2nd,do some heavy Internet research on it,3rd,find other SNES Games to compare it to(Only 2 came up as SCVIV Comparable) and 4th came my overall opinion on Castlevania and IV In general...Lemme just get out of the way before I begin that I HATE Symphony of the Night and any other "Metroidvania"(especially Order of Eccliesia...Shanoa sucks!!)...It copied Metroid and that's that...Now without further ado....my Super Castlevania IV Review
GRAPHICS: One of the most elegant and stunning things to ever to come out of a console or even ANY Game ever made and is Rightfully so..I could just stare at it for hours on end imagining that I Was Simon Belmont.Only 1 SNES Game comes close to this in Graphics and that's Castlevania: Dracula X.The animations are what really shine though.
SOUND: One of the greatest composed soundtracks in any game in history...only A Link to the past done it Better on the Super NES.This game has an amazing original score,it also revisits Castlevanias of old,remixing the songs Vampire Killer(Castlevania) Bloody Tears/Camilla's Theme(Simons Quest) and The Beginning (Dracula's Curse)...epic soundtrack
ADDICTIVENESS: I Cannot tell you what I Could of done in the mount of time I Spent in this immersive world of awesomeness....Perfect controls,excellent enemy design and a epic finale to boot, Super Castlevania IV Is one game I'll bring to my grave.....sweet game!
STORY: Loses marks for being a remake but how can you improve on such a bizarre but brilliant story....Simon Belmont is one dude I Would love to be around for the rest of my bloody life...too bad he's been dead for like 700 years...The fight against Dracula is one of the most heated and anticipated moments of any game I've played to date...absolutly breathtaking
DEPTH: So many levels I Cannot Count....the road into and through Dracula's Castle is one Very long one and will keep you entertained for hours on end.....the way you can mess around with the whip actually made me die because I Was so immersed into what I Was doing it's that deep I Tell you.....
DIFFICULTY: Although Konami made this game with brilliant controls...the road to Dracula is one of many perils including bottomless pits,spikes Medusa heads,skeletons,Death himself,Camilla and of course the big and mighty man himself,Dracula
OVERALL: Well what can I say? This is the best game ever made. Gorgeous graphics,superb sound,and a brilliant story make this a real game that keeps you entertained for hours.....I Give Super Castlevania IV By Konami For the Super Nintendo Entertainment system my first and ONLY Perfect(not Overall 10) 10/10
