So I've been starting to watch Nichijou because a friend told me about it and I have to say, it's an amazingly hilarious anime so far. It's basically about high school and how some students go through it, but the daily events that happen range from a race against time before a secret means the end of life to being blasted by missiles and rockets for terrible festival ideas. Joining the high schoolers is Hakase (literally Professor) and her robot Nano, who helps the 7-year-old Hakase around the house. Hakase may be small, but she's amazingly smart. Nano is well-meaning, but dreams of being treated as a regular person (she has a giant key on her back, by the way).

Has anyone else watched this before? What are your thoughts on it? Like it, love it, hate it?

I've been watching this anime since the beginning. Frankly I love this kind of random comedy so this is easily in my top favorited comedy animes. There were a lot of good anime this season, so I'm not going to say Nichijou was the best hands-down or anything, (Ao no Exorcist is my favorite this season) but it is somewhere around the top for me.
