Our little game has almost come to a close, just a little further, and then we’ll see who’s the winner. Moving on to puzzle number 005:

Once again, you have received a message from a friend. This time, it just doesn’t seem to make sense. It reads:
“Nothing earnest
Beats utter
Lasting arise reflex.
Guilt often leaves fruit.”
You also received yet another piece of paper, which reads:

“These will help you find the last two words you seek:

First word: 1/2/4   2/1/2   2/1/1   4/4/3   3/1/1   2/1/3   3/3/5

Puzzle number 004: Have you read An Unauthorized Autobiography? I haven't, but it does include a cipher or two that I didn't know before. Heard of "Sebalds Code"? If you don't know *whispers* look it up, I won't mind. =D

Puzzle number 002: The numbers stand for the letters position in the alphabet. A=1 E=5 etc.
Puzzle number 003: It's Morse Code, but I used what the lines and dots are called ("dits" are dots, while "dahs" are dashes), just to make it a little more challenging.
Puzzle number 004: This is Sebalds code, from Lemony Snickets "A series of Unfortunate Events" Although it wasn't explained in those books, it was explained in "An Unauthorized Autobiography " It's basically when you hear a ring, the code starts. The first word is counted, then every 11th word is counted after that. Lemony used it in Book the 12th The Penultimate Peril.
Puzzle number 005: Seen National Treasures? This puzzle was used in that film. It's used to find a word hidden among other words. The first number in the line, the next one is the words position in that line, the last one in the letters position in that word.

Yay! To be honest, I did find the puzzles quite easy, though I had to look up the Morse code and Sebald code. If this was a Professor Layton game, I'd give the whole experience 25 picarats. Not super simple, but not very challenging at the same time.

But I had fun figuring out the puzzles. Like I said, it was a fun way to put the skills that I learned from playing the games to the test!
