I only used 2 elixers and a lot of curaga magic. If you attack him before he does his Sinful Harvest it's pretty easy...

And as for KH3, yes, there is word, it is in the process, but it looks DUMB! Or at least the clip I seen...(and I think Sora died)...or that's what it looked like... I don't know...
