"Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black)" and subsequently "My My, Hey Hey (Out Of The Blue)" are two songs that have a direct impact on life, and music as a whole.

Rust Never Sleeps is one of my favorite albums of all time - but the very idea that Neil Young was pushing with the bookending songs was amazing, An artist can continue to make similar music, or they can branch out and do other things (for good or for bad). At its most basic, it is stated that it is better to burn out (stop creating) than it is to rust (end up producing the same stuff over, and over again) and this is something that a lot of musicians fail to understand.

All the greats have re-invented themselves in one way or another throughout their careers, and I see it as the true mark of a musical artist.

I find it hard to pick a favourite song , as that seems to change daily for me, so I will just pick the song I am listening to a lot recently.
I doubt any of you have even heard of this band but..

The Deathbridge in Lethbridge by The Rural Alberta Advantage

The music sounds good and the lyrics are meaningful to me.
