She and I have been married for almost 11 years, and although she might not remember, she was the one that initially got me here, as she also likes the cartoons you have...I came for the games, and she ended up returning, only this time to post on the boards as well. She's not really into the forum posting, but I can help her with that, having been an admin on some simpler boards (and owner of a site that I'm trying to get back up and running).

I also know that she doesn't really spend a lot of time on line, as the computer she's working from needs a lot of upgrade work or just to be flat out replaced, as the CPU itself is a 7-year-old Compaq whose HD needs some TLC to get running optimally.

I'm considering having the tower custom built one of these days, but the computer shop I was going to go to moved out of the neighborhood before we moved in. This sucks as neither one of us can drive at this point, so we have to rely on public transport or other family members to get where we're going. In fact, sometime in the next couple of months, I know I'm going to have to go COMPLETELY off line as the laptop has to go in for a 12-day repair job on the internal power jack, and the tower is primarily used by her anymore. Just thought I'd let you know about that, as it's a $110 repair job, including the tax on that.
