AVGN was right, this is, by far, the best Castlevania game you can possibly get your hands on. If you are like me, you came here after The Angry Video Game Nerd reviewed all of the old school Castlevania games. There is really not much else to say about the game in general, but it is still a good SNES game today.The game is challenging, but not like the nes titles, which to the AVGN thinks are REALLY tough. Music is very catchy and will stay in you're head forever. You can finally whip in all 8 Directions (Now why couldn't Samus do that back then? She can morph into a ball, but not shoot in all 8 directions?). Graphics and gameplay are the best the series has had. I reccomend Super Castlevania IV to introduce yourself to the series. I personally suck at it though which gives it a high difficulty rating by me.
