It's funny how many people claim to "hate" facebook, yet still use it to "keep in touch" with their friends and family.

PROTIP: Farmville is not a way to keep in touch. (Phones are)

Paying for facebook is like paying the monopoly man $200 to go to jail.

It's a public records database where they profit off of distribution of your private data where anyone can spy and use what you say and do as evidence to fire or convict you as a terrorist.

Maybe it helps you connect with "fake friends" you probably never even talk to. It also helps you connect better with law enforcement, employers and stalkers. In terms of business, you have to be either a whore or very popular to find it any bit useful. If you are not popular and not a whore the entire site is worthless and it does a horrible job helping new business pages get connections and likes.

Just like LinkedIn, if you are a nobody the only way to get known is to whore yourself with spam or ads when they should be doing the opposite by promoting nobodies and helping them get connections without the use of spam, ads, or buying likes. When you have to buy likes or friends on a networking site that just goes to show how useless the site is at networking.

Nope, never.

Facebook makes enough money through their advertisement sponsors and game credits that people buy with REAL money, so I see no need for facebook even charging people in the first place. When facebook was released as a public company on the stock market their share prices unfortunately immediately dropped. I believe that people do not think facebook should really be worth how much it really is evaluated.

HELL NAW! They're already making money for Facebook Credits for their games, and they should just continue to make money off of it. They start charging us for something we already get for free, they gonna end up like Myspace.

Never. I already deleted my Facebook account roughly a year ago anyway. If people need to contact me, a phone call or email should suffice. Let's put it this way - I had roughly 200 ''friends'' but probably only about 5-8 genuine ones, if you understand where I'm coming from. After a while I just started disliking the phoniness and ego-stroking. 

Why would I pay to use Facebook? Ew, not a chance for that, the only thing Facebook is good for is watching the drama my fellow family creates on it. Boy do they make me laugh.

Facebook is just turning into another one of those website like Myspace....But I hate it more and more, now I barely even go on there to talk to my friends but since I don't have a phone it's the only choice ....

If it were me, no. I wouldn't do it because the only thing I ever do on Facebook is update my Status and play games. I don't think doing that would be worth paying money. Plus, I don't ever get on it that often. So, no.

In a sense... some people already do pay to use facebook. Those people are the ones who play games such as farmville or castleville. Personally, I've never gotten into the idea of paying for games or really anything on facebook. I do know however that some pages do pay to advertise their page on the side bar you normally see when you scroll through your feed or a game saying "Hey! Like this!" None the less, I wouldn't pay for anything on facebook. Not worth the money when I could be paying for better things in  life.

I don't use facebook in the first place, but sometimes I go to the website and the future really are no worth for paying for. Yeah so I am not going to pay for facebook.

Nope i would never pay to use facebook. I don't even get on facebook that much i get on it everyday to check my notifications and my messages and then i get off and never get on it again that day.

I don't want to have to pay a small tax for everytime I log into it, I rarely even log in there, so no way.

I would never pay to use facebook. I was one of its first users, and as it grew, it got worse and worse.  The young teenagers who think facebook is cream of the crop know nothing about what they are missing and what they could have had.

I do not support facebook at all anymore and I do not enjoy it.  The ONLY reason I have an account right now is so that I can play a few of the games when I am bored.

I've also NEVER been impressed with their claim to make it family friendly, and yet there are a billion images of porn. I report them, and each time the facebook team comes up with some reason to say they are okay.

I hate Facebook and don't use it period as it is. I can keep in touch more than enough with just my messengers that are completely free, my email, and a phone if need be. And my 'phone' is 90% of the time Skype.
