Back in Kindergarten
I was the dumbest kid in the class
I was also the smallest
And the biggest crybaby
And the second youngest I think
or the youngest
and I took special learning classes
but
I came a long way
Now I'm in 1st grade

warmaker : I mean, I'm 18 years old...but I finally got out of that kindergarten class!

And through all that you were clearly the coolest right?

tj4bigred : Not at all. I had no friends. I should have addressed that in there too. This was a spur of the moment type of thing. Took me a few seconds to make. I only realized the poetic potential afterwards lol.

so was your kindergarten life tough it looks like it from the looks of that poem

hackerman : It was. One day I was at home - watching tv - minding my own business, then my mother informed me that I had to go to school. I had no idea what school was so I didn't really think about it (I don't remember thinking about much in general back then). Anyway, my Mom's walking me to the school and I remember feeling so proud because my Mom was happy and she was telling some dude that it was my first day and more applause!

But then I got there.

My Mom left me alone. I did not see that coming. I saw other children there too. I never really spent time with other children before that day. Then the teacher showed up. She was such a mean person. I was very young and was one of the few that didn't go to preschool before this (it cost money back then).

Anyway, I never really had a friend and I was so easy to make fun of back then (I still am though lol).

First grade was better, but it wasn't until 2nd grade that I really enjoyed going to school. Maybe I'll make more of these things that barely qualify as poems
