Annette : Yeah, but that can be changed... what if, instead of LEGALIZING marijuana because ciggarettes and alcahol are far more harmful... we ban ciggarettes and alcahol?

EmosewaRepus : because that is pretty much an impossibility at this point. Both those industries are so massive that they can influence politics to such a degree that they can block any attempt to block those products. Plus a ban on alcohol happened about 100 years ago and it failed. It gave criminal organizations a product and a black market to exploit. Banning it again will not change that.

Cigarettes I could see going though. 99% of new smokers are coming from places like China and India not North America. To lose the North American market wouldn't be the end of the world for tobacco producers.

I think it should be legalized because IMO marijuana isn't that bad of a drug it's better than cigarettes it's natural and doesn't have rat piss in it or deadly chemicals. My uncle smokes a lot of weed and I don't see any problem with it he doesn't go to work high and he doesn't smoke in front of his kids I'm only worried about him getting caught with it, he doesn't need to be arrested for doing something that should be legal.

If the Government controlled this, they could make so much money off of it.

EmosewaRepus : Hahahaha, you mean like prohibition? That would be a fantastic idea. We could spend trillions more dollars controlling those substances and it would have no effect whatsoever.

We've tried prohibition time and time again, alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, each time it has failed drastically.

Well, you know I think it's just kind of a moot point then. Whether it's legal or not, people will find a way to obtain it. It might as well ALL be legal. Well, not the HARD drugs, like Cocaine and Meth. That s*** is just suicide.

EmosewaRepus : I agree and please watch the vulgar words never know if chitlin are trolling through here.

Prohibition.....No thank you and once upon a time you used to be able to buy Heroin, Morphine, Cocaine, Out of a sears catalog along with Hyperdermic syringes so whats that tell you about our nation, granted all this stuff either became schedule I or schedule II makes you wonder what motivation they had in releasing these chemicals to the public with out any form of testing on what the long term effects could be. Recently i had 2 friends pass away from overdosing on Heroin, and from my understanding there has never been a overdose on THC that has been reported to the public. Later DiabeticZach

diabeticzach : I believe he used *** in place of the vulgar word, so I don't really see a reason why you told him to watch his language, this forum is for 13 yr olds and up, honestly if they can't handle someone putting the first letter on there and finishing it with *** I dont think they should post or really even open the 13+ forums.

diabeticzach : I'm trying to find the "vulgar" words in the post you are talking about. Also trying to figure out why one mimicking of a vulgar word in a 13 and over forum would be in the wrong. When a child would be breaking the rules of the forum in looking at this post, using colorful wording that isn't offensive and has to be deciphered in order to get it to begin with, it's the child at fault. "makes you wonder what motivation they had in releasing these chemicals to the public with out any form of testing on what the long term effects could be" ever watch a prescription drug commercial? The pharmaceutical companies that created heroin and morphine are still at it making highly addictive drugs with terrible side effects to dump on the public. It's all about money.

Margoth : You make a valid point....But I would like to think that we can maintain a higher standard then the TOS at the moment. I'm all for colorful wording and such, but why not using something more creative and intelligent?
Belegerbs : I know you did nothing wrong and how many of you lied about your age on the Intranet? I just prefer that if you cant use the word with out ***** it out then why type it at all?

Thanks for your time both of you DiabeticZach
