Yeah if you use JPuff right she can be deadly, who did I use to beat event 51? Jpuff.
Also Marth is a bit quicker than Roy, so they kinda balance out. And actually Sheik is much weaker than Zelda, Zelda is a lot slower though, but her magic attacks can really do some damage.

yeah i know vash, zelda's attacks do more damage... but shes slow and un-co with them, i'd only really use her if i was @ a awkward range, like 2 the left or right of the 2nd dk level, to fireball 'em. Or to counter dangerous missles like samus's, or just to be an ass and never fall off the damn edge

funny thing, i only recently, like 4 months ago, figured out how to ledge grapple with samus and link and that

i liked cap falcon... he had great offencive b moves and decent a moves... but he just doesn't pull it off for me, he's missing an element, probably a player that knows how to use him well ie: not me

peach is a decent character too, the strongest female IMO, but i just never bothered to really master her... kaboom! ass in your face!

Peach was pretty good, but Samus was probably the strongest female though lol. Captian Falcon is a character that really does need to be worked hard on, much like Ice Climbers. People can own with IC (never seen it, but heard about it) but most everyone else will suck with them.

IC suck... Big time.... Definately the hardest character to play... Mario is probably the easiest to learn... Link is second... In my opinion, Ness and Jigglypuff are the hardest to get good with, I'm good with the Ice Climbers, but if you lose Popo during the battle you're screwed.

The PK lightning recovery? Ugh, It damages you though, Ness has a high enough double-jump anyway. Oh yeah, Donkey Kong has that suicide move, if you have a good bit of stock lives than your opponent, DK ha a smash grab where he pick them up over his head so you can jump off with them. I guess if you time it right you can save yourself.
