So... does anyone else play LoL?
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, it's a free-to-play RTS that functions like DotA and can be found here. You control one champion during the entire match, and try to destroy the opposing team's Nexus. I'm not going into any further detail, there's way too much. Read the new user's guide if you want to know more .

I just started playing today, I'm currently 1-2 for my matches, level 2 summoner.

Summoner name is NotoriousFox if anyone wants to add me.

I have the disc and my internet connection is okay but for some reason it says that i'm offline and it asks "Are you connected to the internet." If anyone could help me that'd be great.

Yes I play league of legends. I have been a level 30 for quite a while now. My favorite characters are Shen, Zilean, Gangplank, Soraka and most recently Gragas.

dkmec20 : what the disc does for you is is give you a bunch of champions to start out with. League of Legends would be classified as a "Freemium" game. You can play completely for free forever if you'd like, but you can pay money to enhance your gaming experience. The disc should give you champions, riot points to buy skins and boosts with, and possibly a unique skin. If you can't get the game to register that you bought the disk, send a message into riot games and tell them your situation to make sure that you get what you paid for. Hopefully that helped a bit.

dkmec20 : Not a problem. The application should look like a big L in a Blue Box. Right click that and press properties. If the target type says Application or Short Cut, you are clicking on the correct thing. If it says something else, or you aren't clicking on a big L in a blue box, or something similar to that, than you are clicking on the wrong thing.

dkmec20 : When you downloaded the game, it should have asked to to place a desktop shortcut. If you didn't make one, you're gonna have to go to the folder where you put league of legends. I am off to bed for the night, so if you can't figure it out, my troubleshooting will have to wait until morning.
