OK i have a variety of tricks and glitches that i can display, but because i am lazy i will only submit one right now. All tricks and glitches MUST be from Super Mario 64(regular or DS).

Mario 64 N64 version trick(may work on DS version too)

If you do a triple jump while mario has 100 lives, he will sparkle upon triple jumping.

Feel free to submit your own tricks and glitches too.

The infamous yahoo backwards glitch was one, by pressing Z + A while running gives you the yahoo, but when you move Mario to the opposite direction of where he is facing, and doing that rapidly, you can go through walls, including locked doors and the endless stairs. You can now beat Mario 64 with 0 stars.

In the DS version, if while in bob-omb land, you can use the cannon that gets you to the floating island to get to the top of the mountain really quick. Just take the top arrow (the one that looks like this /) and place the bottom tip of it on the very edge of the bottom of the floating island. You will be launched higher into the sky than you even thought was possible- so high, in fact, that you can go OVER the invisible walls that keep you from running out of the stage. It kills you, of course, but its really fun nevertheless!

I have two that I know.  One is the part where you get on the roof of the castle and you get the flying hat.  Then you try to get to the top as high as possible (do not fly yet).  Then you fly and then go on the front of the castle and you fall all the way down and when you open the door, you can't get out.  It is hard to explain that one.  The other one is the endless stairs to the end.  All you do is long jump backwards on the side of the wall repeatedly and you will be going to fast that it will bring you to the top.
