Yep, I got my mouth washed out with soap sometimes.

Totts : No but when I was real young I would get hot pepper occasionally when I got out of line… It wasn’t fun back then but looking back I realize it was dicispline which is something that seems to be lacking today among youth. I’m not saying that kids should be dealt with on a 100% strict type of deal but parents need to be more involved now because there is so much more kids can get into trouble with etc.

I made my share of mistakes later on when I was a teen and although they weren't with me as much as when I was younger looking back I appreciate having my parents who were there for me in one way or another even when I wasn't doing right by myself or them.

I was a cursing machine from 3 years old and on....Joy, Palmolive, Dawn....had it all, solid liquid, you name it, I've had it....did absolutely nothing to clean my gutter mouth. but I think that's the rebel in me, tell me I can't do something, that's what I do, unless I'm trying to be civil as I do one board like this. If you see my posts on political board I throw in colorful descriptive wording when it suits the argument.

That almost happend to me but it didn't the only time I have experinced that is when I take a shower and I accidently sometimes get soap in my nose or mouth is so disgusting and horible.

Usually now I get grounded or yelled at. But I haven't been grounded in a long time I try to be a good girl haha

No, I don't recall actually getting soap as a punishment. However, I do remember a time when I was super young and drank a little bit of dish soap in a cup because I thought it was 7UP. So, I've washed my own mouth voluntarily, but never as a punishment. hahaha

And my faher used to ground me all the time for stupid stuff, but then we would play a game after (like arm wrestling, or chess or something), and if he won, my grounding was doubled, while if I won, my grounding was halfed. Fun times... fun times.
