I can't really say that I have a favourite animal. For the sake of the thread I will go with the mighty panda. Why pandas? My favourite baseball player, Pablo Sandoval, has a nickname, "Kung-Fu Panda" (like the Jack Black movie).

Great white sharks are my favorite animal. They haven't needed to evolve in the past million years, they're the perfect predators, and they have movies made about how terrifying they are. Watching a white shark breech on a seal in South Africa is the coolest thing in the world. If I could be an animal, I'd be a great white shark. They are the apex predators of the sea. I'm a big fan of top flight predation.

I like ravens, vultures, ground sloths,(sadly, they are extinct... Guess they wanted to be part of the Seven Deadly Sins) Okapi(which are at a zoo only for us to wonder why they don't want to be seen. Awesome... No really, I went to a zoo with one, and waited for a few minutes just with no chance of seeing the beautiful creature...), sand cats(That live in deserts... How obvious!), and hummingbirds.

Also, hummingbirds are not that cute when your mother almost gets attacked by them just because she feeds them. They bite the hand that feeds! And that's cool. Unless they attack my mother.

They are quirky, stumpy, adorable, and they waddle when they walk or slide on their freakin bellies. And even though they are awkward on land, they are graceful and super fast when they are in that water. I actually did my Animal Life History paper in my college animal biology lab. Ended up making a 23 page paper using nothing but primary literature articles from scientists observations and experiments. Pretty much the most fun I ever had writing a paper
