Although vocals are often my favourite part of music, I don't think that they are the most important. Bob Dylan was/is not necessarily a good singer, but, he was revolutionary in a way.

I don't think that there is one member that is more important than the others. If that were the case, then why even have a band? Everyone would just be solo.

The most important aspect of a band is the ability to play together. If you're not in sync, then the music just doesn't sound as good as it should.

And Hackerman,there are songs called instrumentals that don't have any lyrics, just the instruments playing. I actually prefer listening to instrumentals over songs with lyrics sometimes.
