Anyone here work? Where do you work? What do you do? And what's the pay?



Currently, I work at a Gas Station/Liquor Store downtown Prescott as a Cashier. I make $7.75 with a dime raise every month.

Hopefully I can get another job soon

I am currently looking for a job. I just applied at Circuit City and Borders books. I'm hoping to get one of the two... don't know the pay at Borders, but my boyfriend works at Circuit City and get's $10/hour to basically stand at the exit and mark off receits.

Recently I was working at the Queen Mary's Shipwreck, which was a Halloween thing. Got paid $8/hour to scare people. Gods it was fun!

Well, the job is "Loss Pervention"... they basically keep an eye out for shoplifters and make sure the company doesn't lose money that way. It's like unofficial security guards it seems, lol. But yeah, for $10/hour I will stand there with a fake smile on my face all day and welcome people and mark reciepts until I can't stand anymore.

I applied at the one closer to me, at Lakewood Mall... even though I would not mind working at the one in Long Beach where he works. If the Border's job pays well though I think I'd rather go with that... it's across the parking lot from his work and, well... employee discount at a huge bookstore *drool*

I guess I'd suck at that job, I have troubles smilling all the time to customers

Well I already said this in the MY thread called Work (Check further down!!), but I work at Steamboat Inn Prescott WI, I am a dishwasher, fry cook, Buffet Cook, I did a LITTLE bussing, and I do some car parking now and then, I get paid varieties it depends what I am doing but mostly 7.25, because I mostly dishwash now a days
