There's a site called spokeo.com that's a new online USA phone book w/personal information: everything from pics you've posted on FB or web, your approx credit score, home value, income, age. Remove yourself by searching your name, find the URL of your page, then go to the bottom right corner of the page and click on the Privacy button to remove yourself.

The info may not be completely accurate or current, but it is enough that you could easily find yourself getting your identity stolen or get on a lot of telemarketer lists.

I hate these dam facebook nerds they need to stop posting peoples private info and profiting from it.

Someone already hijacked my name as a domain name... oh well. Unfortunatly the web has too many mirror sites meaning your content will pretty much never be removed from the web. When it comes to public records, there is an even greater chance of it being posted all over the web. If I was wikileaks funder I would probably be a bit more worried about my where abouts

I heard about that site on the local news a while ago. There's really no reason for that much info to be available regardless of how accurate it is. The main thing that worries me is that more often than not the address is correct, and you don't have to pay to get that. Other agencies that collect such information and make it available to the public give nothing out for free, and that leaves a paper trail back to anyone that requests such information... but you can just type in a name on this site and find someone's address and use it however you like.
