I played football for a semi pro team, where I ended up getting injured for the rest of the season.   This was the first time I ever played real football, rather than Madden or flag football, I was a Defensive Lineman. It was fun but I have to bulk up more if I want to be effective, nevermind you have to pay to play and with my job I have now I don't think I'm going to be on the field again. Full Contact Flag Football is pretty awesome though!

No, I am not a fan of football. I played touch football back in Middle School for gym, and although I had a little fun with it, the rules of the game confused me some. Can't pass to people after a certain point, or so I was told and what not. I will say that I would rather PLAY football than WATCH football though; commercials interrupt the game on TV way too much to be enjoyable for me.

I played football my freshmen year of high school. I was offensive tackle, defensive tackle and defensive end. I pretty much rode the bench for the whole year, managing to get one tackle the whole year and that was just rewarded for me because I was on top of a pile of people and my number was the first one they saw. It'd be great if I could play football now, I'd try to be the quarterback for a team. I've got pretty decent arm strength and accuracy and I'm not a small guy (I'm 6'2" and about 210 pounds).

I couldn't understand why it was ok to take such a risk with my head and body for nothing but some fleeting glory that no one would remember when I got to high school, let alone the rest of my life.

Now I play a bit with my friends, but we're careful not to really hurt each other. That's just stupid.
