I have two add-ons I use. I have Download Youtube Videos + and it is pretty much what you think it is (but you need a separate video converter as all files start in .flv format, a link is provided where you get this add-on). The second one is ProCon Latte. This one is a profanity filter that is able to replace any word(s), listed in the filter, with ***. Really. Just three asterisks. You can add or remove words from the list to suit your preferences, and you can add websites to a your own White List to prevent the filter from activating at all on them (WARNING: Does not work on images).
