I'm guessing this is a Pokémon game.

Just press the A button (Z on your keyboard) to skip over it.

What it means is that you can't save in the game. When you want to save, press F2 on the keyboard. When you come back to play again, press F4 to load the save.

The only real problem with the 1m Circuit Board issue is that you can't continue when you beat the Elite Four. It shouldn't cause trouble with anything else. I've played at least a dozen Pokémon games on this site, so I'm used to seeing that message. Fortunately, there are a few games without that problem. Again, the only difference is that those games can continue after you beat the Elite Four.
