The answer is antimatter, if aliens use that to travel then you know for sure that is the kind of fuel you could really use here on earth Or we can go the back to the future route and figure out a way to turn trash into fuel that would be neat.

Honestly though, oil is a big business and the last thing they would want to do is give us something that could potentially run them out of business. Could always buy a horse and do it the old fashioned way.

I think Jigsaw has a good point.... oil is big business.... and unless oil companies are in on the alternative fuels I don't see anything changing right now.... they don't want to give up their control of the market to "save the environment".
