I am very ignorant about rap music, but from what I have listened to. It can be very addictive. I'm sure there's going to be bad songs, but I think thats the same of any genre I listen to.

Eminem actually used to be very offensive towards women. He must have changed his lyrics a lot and had gotten much more mature. I personally cannot stand rap either. I really don't like it. I usually listen to Heavy Metal.

i don't think rap music iw good for children to here because it has some very bad things in the song that children should never here .

Replying to an old thread is always fun. Anyways...

Rap music is good when it's performed in a respectful manner. Nowadays it's all about big booties and crap. I prefer Christian hip hop, honestly. Lecrae and his friends can run the table with any rapper that's popular today, both in message and in skill. Kind of like Christian rock is becoming popular, I see Christian rap exploding even more than it has already.
