I was just curious if a Gun Mage could learn Mighty Guard from a Lady Luck or if I'd have to stick with confusing an enemy.

Well the only way a gun mage learns new abilities is to attack an enemy with its 'Blue Bullet' ability. I've never personally tried attacking one of my own teammates with 'Blue Bullet', but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work. Otherwise, obtaining certain abilities on the gun mage would be a breeze. You'll probably have to confuse an enemy because I can't see your plan with the Lady Luck working.

I'm in Chapter 3 when the Watchers start appearing. I know you're supposed to only use Attack so it doesn't lock out your special skills but I accidentally used one. I killed the Watcher before the move finished so I was wondering if the move could be locked by starting up a skill or does the skill have to finish before the Watcher dies?
