I used to have severe eyesight. My glasses looked like glass bottles bottom but I finally had a laser treatment for it and nowadays I don't need to use glasses anymore

I currently have glasses. I used to have 20/20 eyesight. I think spending a few years staring at screens and watching TV in the dark has damaged them. They've pretty much stayed the same (I think) for the past 2+ years.

I have near perfect eye-sight. It's in my family to have glasses, but I don't, which is weird because I'm spending a lot of my life into an eye straining screen.

i have distance eye sight problems, meaning i cant see stuff very far away. even tho i have glasses to help me see stuff from far away i do not wear them at all, being how i am never far away from anything. the only time tho i do wear em is if im driving my car xD (safety issue)

alexanyways : There's no such thing as perfect eyesight, especially if you are referring to 20/20. 20/15 is even better than that but most people have even worse eyes now compared to our ancestors (with whom 20/15 was much more common).

I once took my glasses in to have the hinge tightened (it literally unscrews itself, causing my right lens to pop out), and the tech said 'This is common with the stronger prescriptions. Have you considered trying the Featherweights?'





I stared in her general direction (I've learned how to do that so I don't look like I'm staring through them) and said 'Ma'am - these are the Featherweights.'

Apparently I have 20/20 vision which is considered perfect (I think.)
But eventually we all will get old and have bad eye sight.

It´s pretty scary I´ve always had good eyesight but lately it has been getting gradually getting worse, I´ve heard it can be fixed if treated early and I got an appointment with a eye doctor on the 30th this month, I mainly have problems seeing stuff from a projector it seems, or on screens.
