Just saw this thread...you and you're family have my deepest condolences and best wishes. I know what it is like to go through the holidays without a loved one.

Speaking as a PWD (Person With Diabetes) myself, I can honestly tell you this is a frightening, frustrating, life-altering disease. I don't know the details of what happened to your father...just know that there are folks out there who understand. Please feel free to drop me a line if you need someone to talk to.
