When it comes to partners I have high standards. People who are mature, intelligent, fun, kind, and honest. In general I am attracted to people who are older than me. Someone who I can become best friends with.

Confidence doesn't hurt, but there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. I don't like argumentative, self-righteous, arrogant or rude people - So "bad boys" are out, and so are angry manchildren. (Everyone has baggage, but I'm not willing to put up with being disrespected or abused in any capacity.)

They must agree with and practice the same basic moral principles as me. Maturity goes along with this and is very important to me. If someone is not mature, and if I can't look up to them and respect how they conduct themselves & live their life, I am incapable of being emotionally attracted to them.

I love to learn new things, so I don't mind them having varying hobbies and interests.

For some reason, I have a thing about smell. I usually don't pick up on it right away, but sometimes a person will have a small that's either really repulsive or calming or something like that. It's emotion-invoking.

I probably got that from my mom. She's kinda weird xD

Also, curves. Curves are great~ I mean, a girl can be completely flat and still be pretty, but B or C cup with hips... *drool*

*AHEM* ANYWAY.

Personality-wise, maturity is a must. If a person can't hold a conversation, then meh. I don't even have to agree with them all the time. I like debates. But I don't like circular logic or lame retorts =_=;; And hatefulness is even worse. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't make them "the enemy" or anything silly like that...

And, of course, fun~ Most of the point of dating is fun, right? Spontaneity is a great trait~ I wouldn't want to date a stick-in-the-mud any more than I'd want to be one.

I'm kind of the type that isn't really good at picking one "kind" of girl to go for. Sometimes girls with highly contrasting personalities interest me, in fact.

Perhaps I watch too much harem anime?

I guess "technically" I only go for married women. This isn't as awful as it sounds because I am of course referring to my wife!

But on a more serious note, when I was into other females, it was all about shenanigans! You gotta make me laugh to be my boo.

I go for the "brains over beauty" type of girl but at least have a fashion sense. I find girls who are like that very attractive and I prefer very mature, older ones with a fun side.

Really, all I look for in a girl is that she is intelligent and funny.  Usually, looks won't matter, unless there is something that I absolutely cannot pass up when I look at her.

I usually go for the ones who are interested in staying fit and active, like similar things that I do, and they have to be intelligent and have a personality. 

I just go for people who are relaxed and actually don't take what I say too heart. I mean I'm a very relaxed, easy going person so I really do dislike people who try to command me into doing things that aren't really interesting. I don't really care for looks either, I'd rather have a decent mental conversation and someone that I can get on with all the time rather than an attractive douche

They have to be fun-loving, relaxed, can take a joke make a joke. And of course like most men would say, she has to be somewhat pretty. I don't desire anything totally glamorous. I prefer shorter women, prefer brunettes with amazing eyes and great smiles, *sigh* The girl in the clouds of my mind.

Well , I like older guys in general so that would be " men " for me.
I didn't like dating any guys my age during high school because
they were always so immature and that's why I looked towards
older men .

What I like to see in a male in general is that he is kind , knowledgeable ,
funny , not shy like I am , can get along with people and is very reasonable.
Its a plus when that are into the same kind of things I'm into like anime , video
games , swimming , drawing / art .. etc  .

I like a girl that has a nice smile and she can be understanding about situations that goes on in my life. Looks aren't everything to me, if you trust me and care about me then we can have a start on something good for the future.

I like women who are smart, caring and trustworthy. Oh, and one's who are mannerly because Bad manners is a no-no in my books. I'd also like if she was good looking aswell

   In terms of looks: I guess I really like a girl with brilliant eyes and long hair.  I also like it when a girl can rock a dress and bum around in sweats.  I don't like it when a girl wears a lot of unnecessary make up.

   I like a girl who's smart, well-mannered, caring, and honest with a good sense of humor . She also has to be open to things like music.  I have a wide variety of music interests.  It'd also be rad if they play video games like Legend of Zelda.  Cigarette smoker is a turn off for me.
It'd also be nice if she's somewhat confident, but NOT arrogant.  I'm kind of a hopeless romantic, so I like it when a girl likes to be all cute, but not all up in every body's face.  I hate a lot of PDA. Also it's cute when they're outgoing, but somewhat shy.

  It'd be really rad if she can play an instrument (like the uke or guitar) or sing. I play guitar so it'd be great to be able to play together.  Kind of like Zoey Deschannel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Yeah!
