I feel kind of alone on this one but ya my fav music is Country i guess its just because i grew up with it..... And then it could just be because i like the sound of it, well either way its my favourite music.

Iknew id get some sort of reaction like this to my post...lol, But hey not all country music is that bad i mean especially if you like it....

I'll admit that not ALL of it is bad... but it is like rap to me....

most of it sucks... and the stuff that is okay to listen to.... isn't that great either

Ya i can see how someone can feel that way, but then again some person could feel the same way about techno.... Yet it is true that Country Music does fall upon a low denomination.... But ya im not a big fan of rap either.

I like Punk and Ska like: Operation Ivy, The Misfits, Mustard Plug, The Ramones, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Left Over Crack to name a very few. I listen to all music really though.

I think punk really.... .kinda... sux. It for the most part, all sounds the same.

NOOOOOOO there are many different types of punk and they all sound different.

I listen to rap where the artist doesn't have to make up words to rhyme. Mostly I listen to Metal, Rock and techno. I really like trance music and its easy to get into for me.

I hate R&B just not my style and generally most rap, except MC Chris lol.

I mean i hate to argue... but i must. They for the most part have the same guitar sounds, same guitar playing style, and that same old repeditive lead vocal voice

Well, Ska and Punk are two entirely different things. Ska guitar rifts sound like Reggae with punky vocals, and the lyrics are more about peace than 'Anarchy'.

Punk is just a type of rock like heavy metal. WHY does all the hardcore singers of Heavymetal sound alike? SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM. Punk has alot of different variations. And unlike alot of music Punk usallly talks about somthing and has a good point. Some punk is foolish but you have to listen to the right stuff. For variations you should listen to the first Tony Hawk games soundtrack. The lyrics to punk are typically better than rock in my opinion. My dad says that all rap and rock sounds the same and its just noise. This is because he thinks its not worth the time of day and doesn't like it...Mabey this is the same with you John lol. Also country music is OK. I like the old stuff like Cash and Charlie Daneils. The New s*** pretty much sucks. LIke oh I'm gonna go get drunk and is it 5 olclock yet? The old stuff about being a country boy is cool because I am a country boy. Josh Turner is good to.

I actually think Johnny Cash is better than most artists musically... the dude can go into a prison, sing and have prisoners giving him a standing ovation...and that's saying something.

Yes, I relize his recent demise but I saw one of his concerts at a jail in California on TV.

Hey now, don't start basing heavy rock. System of a Down is possibly the greatest Rock group of our time. I will admit it is hard to be good at metal/death metal. But the good ones are great!

I'll admit System of a Down is...different, which is good but after listening to them for a while you get tired of them...and actually that happens to me with most musical artists.

Metal artist last longer then rap artists. metalika Rob zombie Ozzy i mean those are some.
Rap P diddy and Snoop even then they were not around as long as metalika and ozzy. Ok and it must be hard coming out with something creative after all of those albums.

Thats not true. How about tupac and run dmc? They are still famous. Do you know how many s***ty drop out loser metal bands there are? Way too many to count.
