ok well first lets start with a simple thing to try (it helped me when I had problems with DK64). uninstall the plugin, redownload it, and reinstall it. then restart your browser and try the game again. If that does not work, please post what video card you have. If you do not know what video card you have you can click on the start menu (bottom left corner of the screen, may look like a windows symbol) and then if you have windows XP click run and type dxdiag. IF you have vista or windows 7 type dxdiag in the little search box in the start menu. a box should pop up, click the display tab on that box and post what it says under the Device section, next to name and also what it says next to aprox total memory. also posting what it says next to date in the drivers section might help to see if you are using the latest driver version.
