Chrono Trigger's story was great. Chrono Cross barely had anything to do with Chrono Trigger though. I mean, the ending was nice, the stuff coming close to the end was cool, but it felt like the whole rest of the story had nothing to do with what happened at the end.

FF_Freak, Chrono Trigger is about this guy who meets a gorgeous girl (who turns out to be a princess), they basically end up in a time warp of sorts and eventually end up in the future. When they see that it's a totally bleak future, they search around to find out what happened. Turns out the whole world gets decimated in 1999 AD (their "present" is 1000 AD), and they set out to change the future. I think there are about 12 different endings. It's easily one of the best RPGs ever. If you liked Final Fantasy VI, you will LOVE Chrono Trigger.

I didn't think CT was that deep. 12,000 B.C. is pretty cool. I have this for SNES and PSX. I beat the SNES one like 5 or 6 times. My chars are all about level 70 or so. I have all the best weapons etc. It is a little on the easy side but getting eveything is cool. The Double and Triple Techs are great for their time. Awesome game.

CC was great. A very little known game that has a small relation to Chrono Cross would be Radical Dreamers. It was only available in Japan for the SNES and downloaded over phone line. The Patch for it should be easy to find however the actual game may take a while.
